09 Jun Trago Set to Smash Kickstarter Goal (Final Results In)
UPDATE: Trago is now fully funded – and them some! 895 backers pledged $75,277 to help exceed the campaign goal of $50,000. That makes Edwards Media 4 for 4 in making videos for successful Kickstarter campaigns.
Jac and Davis Saltsgiver have created something that is catching on fast. A couple months ago they came to us to create the Kickstarter video for their invention, the Trago Cap. We had previously made videos for three Kickstarter campaigns and they were all funded. Trago is our fourth and it’s on track to be the best success story yet.
Trago was made a “Staff Pick” by Kickstarter
We all set out to make a high-energy, action-packed Kickstarter video that would capture the tech-connected, athletic culture around the Trago Cap. We drew inspiration from a few Nike and Adidas commercials and pulled out a couple tricks of our own, but most of all, we got out of the way.
We think the best approach is to present the truth with authenticity. Jac and Davis are great guys with a good product. A simple story is always best, but sometimes the hardest to tell.
A lot of press has built up around Trago since it’s launch. The brothers have been featured in Outside Magazine, GeekDad.com, and Sports Illustrated.
At the time of this blog, the Kickstarter campaign has raised $41k of it’s $50k goal and still has 23 days to go! It was also selected as a “Staff Pick” by Kickstarter.
