“Master Hoa’s Requiem” Makes the Festival Rounds

Our short film, “Master Hoa’s Requiem,” has been making the festival rounds this spring. This 18-min documentary is part of a feature film, VIETNAMERICA, that we are premiering this fall with the Vietnamese American Heritage Foundation. “Master Hoa’s Requiem” has been accepted to the following festivals:

1) Dallas International Film Festival
2) WorldFest Houston – “Best Texas Production”
3) USA Film Festival – “Best Texas Production”
4) Breckenridge Festival of Film
5) Thinline Film Festival
6) DisOrient Film Festival
7) Asians on Film
8) Boomtown Film festival
9) Nacogdoches Film Festival
10) Viet Film Festival – Winner
11) Big As Texas Film Fest
12) Hill Country Film Festival
It has been an honor to work with the Vietnamese American Heritage Foundation throughout this project. We’ve learned more about the Vietnam War and it’s aftermath than we could have ever imagined. We’re proud to be a part of telling the story of the Vietnamese refugee.

Post-production is nearing a close on the feature-length follow up, VIETNAMERICA.
