Blanton Museum of Art Gala Video

Earlier this year, Edwards Media was selected as the video agency for the upcoming Blanton Museum of Art annual gala. We were tasked with putting together a video that would showcase the latest developments at the museum, and honor retiring University of Texas President, Bill Powers.

An esteemed cast of professors, curators, artists & Bill Powers himself

It was a special treat for our team to get after-hours access to the museum, and to sit down with an esteemed cast of professors, curators, artists and Powers himself for interviews about Austin’s biggest art museum.

Since the Blanton building is nearly as impressive as it’s collections, we also brought out the drone to capture some aerials views of the museum and the UT campus.

Another rare treat came in the form of an invitation to attend the gala to watch the video with an audience of Austin’s “tastemakers, young professionals, and community leaders,” and music by DJ Mel and Memphis Train Revue It’s always fun to experience your work in the context of a fresh audience.

The EM team cleans up pretty well too.
